The Zoom link to help sessions is posted on the help sessions page. We are meeting Thursday evenings at 7:00 beginning February 4.

The audition requirements for the first round are listed here. To ensure you receive all audition materials, updates on auditions and help sessions, and are receiving all information please fill out this form.

This is the link for submitting your video for the first round audition: First Round Audition Form.

Auditions for the 2021 MSU Drumline will have two separate parts. For the first part of the audition, each indovodual will need to send in recorded videos of exercises and music (to be determined). These videos will need to be submitted by 11:59pm on May 5, 2021.

The second will be an in-person audition - if allowed with pandemic protocols - on Saturday, May 22, from 8:30am - 5pm.

Materials for the first audition are here. All students auditioning should be able to play the exercises for his/her instrument on the exercises page. There is some copyrighted music on the audition as well. To ensure you receive this copyrighted music and all of the audition materials, please fill out the form here.

If you have a conflict with the audition on May 22 for any reason, please contact Jon Weber at drumline@msu.edu as soon as possible. Although an in-person audition would certainly be best for all, we will work with every individual to find the best solution for getting a complete and fair audition.

We will offer help sessions free of charge beginning in February on Thursday from 7 - 8 pm. These will be online (on Zoom) until we are allowed to meet safely in person. The Zoom links will be posted on this site. Both the help sessions and auditions are being scheduled with safety in mind. We will be following all protocols from the state and university.

If you have questions, please email Jon Weber at drumline@msu.edu.
